Frequently Asked Question
What age range do your children’s homes cater for?
Our children’s residential homes support young people up to the age of 18. The specific age range accepted at each home may vary depending on the existing group dynamics and the needs of the young person. Contact us to discuss individual circumstances.
Where are your children’s homes located?
We currently operate children’s residential homes in Cambridgeshire and East Sussex. Each home is purpose-designed to feel like a real home rather than an institution, with thoughtful consideration given to the local environment and community access.
Are your children’s homes inspected?
Yes, all our children’s homes are registered with and inspected by Ofsted. Inspection reports are published on our Ofsted Reports page and on the Ofsted website. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the quality standards set out in the Children’s Homes Regulations.
How can a local authority make a referral for a child?
Referrals for children’s placements are typically made by the child’s allocated social worker or the local authority’s placements team. Contact us on 01733 261233 or via our website, and we’ll discuss the young person’s needs, share our statement of purpose, and arrange a visit if the placement looks like a good match.
